Tuesday Night – 10/17/2006: An evening snow storm is rolling into Southern Utah, tonight. It’s mostly cloudy. I head back out to the Bar10 Ranch tomorrow, so by the time this image is posted… I’ll be 80 miles away on the Arizona Strip from the nearest town…
This is Lion’s Mouth, named by the locals around here. I come often to see this place. These paintings are what you call pictographs. These pictographs are anywhere from 700-2,000 years old.
An Update – Folks, I’m sorry to say that everything in my previous blog was wiped clean and erased after having something go wrong with my photoblog database. So I am starting from scratch again. I was unable to save the comments and the order the photos were displayed. The description for each photo were lost. I’ve gone through and reposted most of the images, so they will be all listed under the same date. But these photos go back to 2004.
